Jessica Marie Alba (American actress, businesswoman) is Jessica Marie Alba. Her first TV and movie appearances at the age of 13 old in Camp Nowhere (94), after which she became a star at age 19 with the role of lead actress in the show Dark Angel (2000 - 2002) in which she was nominated for an Golden Globe nominee. Honey (2003) was her biggest screen success. She soon became an established star in Hollywood and has appeared in a number of box office hits like Fantastic Four (2005), Fantastic Four : Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) and Good Luck Chuck (2007). She is a regular collaborator with Robert Rodriguez. Her roles include Sin City (2005). Machete (2010). Spy Kids All the Time in the World (2011). Machete Kills (2013). Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014). Alba was a part of the cast from 2019 until 2020 in Spectrum's action-crime series L.A. Finest. Alba co-founded The Honest Company (a consumer goods company that sells products for household, personal, and babies) in the year 2011. Magazines such as Men's Health as well as FHM and Vanity Fair included her among their lists of the most beautiful women. Jessica Marie Alba was born in Pomona, California, on April 28, 1981, to Catherine Louisa (nee Jensen) and Mark David Alba. Her mother is of Danish, Welsh, German and English ancestry. Her paternal grandparents were both immigrants from California. Joshua is her older sibling. Gustavo Arellano is her third cousin. Her father was an Air Force pilot who took her family to Biloxi and Del Rio in Texas. She returned home to Claremont, California when she was nine years old. Alba describes her family as a conservative, traditional, Catholic, Latin American family. She calls herself liberal and says that she was feminist at five years old.
